Circumnavigating LA, Summer 2007Woodland Hills > Frazier Park > Antelope Valley > Cajon Pass > Long Beach > San Pedro > Palos Verdes > Santa Monica > Point Mugu > Calabasas In the summer of 2007 I decided to circumnavigate the perimeter of Los Angeles County, California—or as close as I could come given the available pathways. My aim was to become as fully acquainted with the terrain of my home as I could. The trip was ultimately undertaken in three segments spread out over several weeks. Despite its small scope and short duration, this journey has yielded some of the finest photographs of my travels. Here I present the results: a photographic journey around the edges of LA.
